The World's Best Belt RACE SERIES is built to decrease the chances of snapping or delamination in race applications, with a newly released design that features a larger Kevlar cord and a custom braid design to act as a shock absorber. The new vulcanization process helps prevent premature separation of the layers, while the custom blend of two premium High Modulus Compounds holds the top layers together with the cord and bottom layers like super glue.
The belt has the highest shock load rating to date, able to withstand the power of 600hp machines. The increased top cog pressure load design increases sidewall rigidity and prevents top cog bowing, while still allowing for increased rotational flexibility. The bottom cog uses a HIGH modulus rubber compound (BZX1) for better heat resistance and heat dissipation, and is impregnated with short Aramid Fibers for better belt-to-sheave adhesion and reduced overall belt temperature.
The latest bottom cog design provides greater rotational efficiency at full shift, and the precision ground sidewall angle (SCUFFING) ensures smooth engagement, increased power transfer, and lower operating belt temperature. The Kevlar cord, instead of polyester, wraps over the bottom cogs for increased bottom cog strength.
